Separate from all of this, is personally my reasoning for there shouldn't even be a focus for patreon content: yiff.party
I understand if it was still an exhentai-like where you can only access it through an 8chan thread on a dead board, but it's so ubiquitous now. I can understand if it doesn't have something, but then that lies towards requests here or requests in the designated thread on yiff.party's BBS. A patreon board or thread will just boil down to:
* it's already on yiff.party, but I'm just reposting it into a patreon-oriented place instead of a more appropriate thread
* it's not on yiff.party, so I'm requesting for it
* it's not on yiff.party, but instead I'm sharing it here instead of importing it through yiff.party
And the last, while it shouldn't happen, I've definitely seen it:
* I refuse to use yiff.party because X Y or Z reason
Im all for people posting patreon content, but for whatever "legal" reasons people want to pull out of their ass, designated areas for patreon content paints a big fat arrow on my back, and while I'm sure nothing would really happen, as nothing has really happened with yiff.party, it's still something that, as an administrator who's unsure if I'm doing everything right and covering myself properly, should take note of. I already had a heads-up request over some possible dubious activities.
A point I didn't address, but I honestly, from a contribution standpoint, see the site as popular. Sure, I think analytics said about 3K unique weekly visitors the last time I checked maybe a few weeks ago, but from a posting viewpoint, it's not all that popular. I can /maybe/ see a patreon-focused place (a board) helping /maybe/ drive traffic and posting, but yiff.party exists anyways.
